The amount of gear you have will determine the size of your chuck box and how the inside is designed. the box shown here is just one example of how your box could look. some boxes have only one or two drawers to make room for larger items such as pots and pans. it�s up to you.. Designed and built in upper austria, the camp champ is a larger, more intricate kitchen-in-a-box. like many a good chuck box, the camp champ was purpose-built for its designer's personal use.. The my camp kitchen (or something like it) would work great for my durango camper in that it would give me a single dedicated space for all my cooking equipment, instead of the series of boxes.

Back when i went camping with scouts our chuck box hand simple legs made of, if i recall correctly, 2x4s placed into angled slots. while in itself this isn't an advantage, the benefit was that these same legs were placed into horizontal slots immediately above the angled ones to become handles to easily carry the box into camp..
